Potomac River Report - 03/18/2011

I fished with a work buddy today launching out of Leesylvania State Park. The river is muddy to say the least. In most locations, visibility is about 4in. We fished main river, points, creeks, and flats and got humbled for the first five hours or so. We finally found a sweet spot and landed nine in the next two hours. The biggest five probably went around 12lbs. Because this was a pre-fishing effort for his tournament tomorrow, we did a prompt catch and release and thus no pictures. After his tourney, I will share the location and pattern.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
