Calling Mark at Catoctin Creek Custom Rods.....

Mark- could you tell me a little about this great topwater rod I won from the Broad Run HS Fishing Club?

It's very cool looking and I am anxious to throw something with it.

Re: Calling Mark at Catoctin Creek Custom Rods.....

My apologies for the delay in responding!!  My suggestion would be one of my favorite topwater lures, the Rebel Pop-R. A close second would be a buzzbait, 1/4 or 3/8 oz.

Just think, if you went to the NW corner and threw it with that wind behind you you'd make the other shore
