I cant wait for the warm spell as well! The water temps dropped and the fish at Kiptopeke were not there Thursday night. Tonight was gonna be my last chance to fish it but the water temps are too low. Looks like I will be driven from NOVA to Kipto once we get a warm spell...

To make a very long story short. Fella we were with wanted to eel........we ended up north of the concrete ships fishing from a 40' cruiser after a long boat ride from Reedville. Lots of boats eeling there, but no one boated anything that I could tell. On our way back to Reedville we found working birds at the "cell" and caught several (all small keepers and throwbacks). Boat iced up on the way down to fish, but not quite as bad as you've seen on "Deadliest Catch".

Would love to hear the "rest of the story"!

I'll let Jumping Jasper fill in the blanks. We did have a good time.
