Has anyone ever repaired a set of neoprene waders? I have a small leak in the foot of mine now. It was just enough to get a really cold, wet sock in about an hour of wading sunday (and only 1 smallmouth). There isn't a rip or hole that I can see in it. I've read about people using just about everything from silicone caulk to hockey tape with epoxy on it with varying degrees of success. I figure the best method to find the leak will be to put soapy water on the foot of the wader then use the shopvac or compressor to shoot air in the leg and see if I get some bubbles (like checking a gas fitting for a leak). But for the repair???

I've had good results w/ rubber cement applied liberally to small holes or tears.

seems like a bicycle tire repair patch should work, or am I just showing my age. They still have tubes, don't they?

Yes, they have tubes.....Performance (Reston) or Specialized (Ashburn) will have various patch kits. There are a couple of bike shops in Leesburg.

The fashlight trick in the video didn't work. Some watered down liquid soap and the shop vac did. I put a little shoe goo on there and later that night it looked good to go..
