i fished ashburn by boat for 2.5 hours for one 2# bass, then I loaded up and drove to plan B.
did reasonably well there. busted through some heavy brush to work an area nobody fishes.
it paid off.
then hit plan c on a whim. I had an hour so to kill before picking up a friend.
I hit a pond i knew held some fish. Didnt expect much.
Started catching, caught more, called friend to beg off, caught more, decided to fish until the fish quit, kept catching.
all the fish mentioned in the heading were caught in the third body of water.
I caught the 3.5 @ 10:30.
my left arm was killing me from hauling them in.
this is no joke-still hurts today
so i released 3.5, threw another cast, and got hung.
i broke off my prized chatterbait, --and knew it was time to go

Great post.....nice work. Based on recent reports, I would say that the fish have shaken their summer doldrums!
