7-24 DC Waters
Got to the ramp at 5:00. Called Master Thai at 5:15 to see if he was about there. No, still in bed 
...........overslept 
. We finally got topwater plugs going about 5:50. Master Thai gets the first fish with a crankbait.........
We cannot buy a topwater hit for 2 hours. Switch up to jigs and pick up 4-5 more quick bass.
and a solid 3#er
I decided to go exploring up the Anacostia for some possible snakehead territory. Big waste of time and we head back to the WC.
We find breaking fish (stripers)! 
That's the good news.........I catch 6 on topwater 
. The bad news...........they are all 7-9" juv-e fish.

I still cant believe I fell back asleep after waking up at 4:20...But it still turned out to be a fun day, cant complain when I catch 3 keeper smallies down here!
