The Potomac River Anglers Club is having their 2008 Spring Tournament on April 19 (Trophy Opening Day). I am going to try to pre-fish on Friday the 18th (C & R), weather dependent of course. Home port is Cobb Island MD (about 85 miles from Ashburn).
Is anyone (1-3 anglers) interested in fishing this event?
We will need to share expenses for this event:
Boat gas- between @$80- $100
Truck gas- @$50
Room- @$70 (per 2)
Tourney fee- $125
Total- @$335 which equals to @$85 a person for 4 anglers, @$111 per person for 3 anglers or @$167 for 2 anglers.
Please let me know and we will plan accordingly!

ANY fish that I catch at the tourney will be a 1st.
I have one crew member so far, John Lipetz who is the esteemed president of the Potomac River Smallmouth Club.

Ernie,
I may have an interest in joining the team, but lack tournament experience . . . let's see if you still have an opening on the team as the date nears.

Tom,
This is a trolling tournament and the big joke is that I have yet to catch a fish in one of these events. My crew has included the likes of Curly, Bev, BC, John Sexton and we still got skunked. I even hired a charter captain once and still got skunked but I will keep trying. Right now, I have one crew member so you are more than welcome to join us. Let's talk Saturday at the men's Breakfast if you are going.
