Down here for work, but there is just a little free time here and there. It is summertime here and the days are long (14 hrs of sunlight). Christoba, Angel, and I had time after work to head down to the river for an hour or so. I broke my rod on a BIG FISH. Snapped the rod in to two pieces just above the grip. It is now held together with tree limbs and medical tape. Christoba caught 3 small catfish-like critters.
They have wiskers as long as thier body. Bet Capt. MIke would like a 60 lb. blue cat with wiskers like that.
Don't know if I'll have any time the rest of the week , but we'll see.

All work and no play today. No chance to fish at all. Here is a drug lab that we burned today. Who likes fire?
We will see what tomorrow brings?

I know some of you like these posts, even though there are no fish in this one.......so here is another......I hear the DC area got up to 3" today. Different conditions here.....95 degrees and 200% humidity. Work is getting in the way because no fishin again today. But it was a good day for RECON on the Bolivian Special Forces choppers. I had the side jumpseat with my feet dangling out and best view. Here is a view forward in the bird.
Took two birds out for the look see.
It's a jungle out there!
We did a little river hugging......Nothing like buzzing down the river, below the tree tops at 100 MPH+.
We'll see what tomorrow brings? ??
