I hear Ernie talk about full moon and lack of bite but I really never had it happen, till last weekend. Friday was good and Saturday tougher and Sunday even more so. So I wonder is there scientific evidence that full moons and clear nights kill the bite?
From all the reports fishing was off last weekend.

On side note I ran into 4 clouds of baby snakeheads with two being guarded by mommy. She would not bite no matter how times you dropped a lure in her face.
Most of the females where small as compared to the past ones I have seen. 


Back to the moon.. we have to rule out feeding at night since snakeheads do not. Wind was up and that kills the snakehead bite so maybe it was many factors that brought the lack of bites..

1. full moon
2. spawn
3. wind
4. cool temps at golden hour
5. forgot the remove hook guards..
6. lure not rubbed down with bar b que sauce.

Fishing is so much a mystery, and that is what makes it fun, just to figure it out.
