July 6 Bass Fishing

I had free time so I got up early and was on the water by 6 am and started fishing.  The only problem was the Carp were still heavy spawning and creating a mess everywhere (when will they stop relations? LOL).

I got a couple bass, but that's all.  no other signs of fish other than catfish, carp.  The area is great, open, not pressured, but wow....I'm not used to not having a single snakehead strike.

Again, still practicing my baitcasting.  I added a minute of casting with my new spinning reel setup (shimano adrena and vanquish reel) to show how effortless it is to cast lightweight lures.  It's really been an enjoyment to have great/smooth functioning equipment.
