10-27-2024 Report

Cold wind cut deep into my neck as we headed way back Mattawomen creek looking for carp. Had to put on raingear to cut the cold wind. First spot anchored up and after an hour with no bites we moved back to spot that was good yesterday. Set lines out and another hour went by with no bites. Baits where getting cleaned by most likely white perch. Had to keep rebaiting every 30 minutes. But then it happened as big carp after big carp got landed. Landed 9 and lost 2. Another good day.
