August

Beautiful day out, even the barometer was dropping a bit.

Zino Platinum was the stogie of choice.

Bites were almost non existent and subtle.

Caught 1 dink.

Re: August

Another beautiful day out.

The Minor was between 3-4pm. I just missed it as I only had 2 dinky bites.

Another Zino Platinum made the hour bearable.

Re: August

Was in the garage doing stuff and I noticed that my fly rods had spider webs on them. mad

So I got the 4wt out and made a few casts. I was throwing a dry fly (mainly top water) and got a little 3-4"er.

I witched up a few flies and finally figured out what they wanted. Low and slow....and rather boring.  I was able to catch 5 that were 7-8.5" (based on handle measuring). Nice tussles!

Phone was in the house so no pics.

Yet another Zino kept the bugs away.
