Went out at 4:30 to crows nest here in Stafford.  It's fortunately less than a mile or two from my home so it was easy to go.  The only difficult part is rolling the kayak down the pier about 100 yds, but no problem there.  I'm trying to get used to using their kayak ramp, which is nice to have...in some ways.  I prefer a regular ramp so I can put my wheels on while in the water.  Getting in isn't the issue, it's getting out.  I usually just stand off to the side and step off and use a long dock line to float it around to the entry and pull it up.  It's having to lift the yak up to put the wheels on while sitting on the dock that's difficult.  I'll post how I do it now to see if there are any better techniques in the future.

The temps had dropped down to 78, it was light rain, and overcast.  I had no fish to account for and lost my new favorite lure (sPro hot pink frog) into the hillside when my line snapped while casting.  But, the scenery was fantastic, I was out on the water, and I met a nice guy who is local also.
