Fort Washingotn 11/6-7

Took a couple of days to chase down my 50 lb catfish. Didn't get there, but did get close with a 47 lber yesterday and a 45 lber today. All fish were caught on fresh cut shad drowning in 35 feet of water.

For those more inclined to striped fish. I marked a LOT of fish suspended around some humps and points...most unlike the old catfish.  May have to give them a go next time out, either live lining shad or trolling, but I have no experience in that specialty. Maybe the big ones are on their way to the Washington Channel.

Dan,

That's a great report! Curly will be in the channel on Thursday...we have been too lazy to motor downriver and take a look at the marks! Did you see the 35 pounder (blue cat) Curly caught on an artificial?
