Yeah, I started using the chatter bait last summer with my cousin in alabama.
I caught 6 ( 5-6 pounders) fishing with it. Almost every outing i've had success using it.

WOW, that's a huge...............

...............measuring tape! lol dwarfs the fish! Nice catch! So far this year, I've lost 3-4 chatterbaits (snags) and have caught 0 bass on them. Glad to see they're working for someone else.

I just started to throw the chatterbait....only one hit so far but it's reassuring to see that it worked for you.

Time to go fishin' again!

Sherwood's the same guy who claimed to catch a nine pounder out of Ashburn Lake but never posted any pics. He works at Dick's.

He is a nice guy... we used to trade secrets all the time up at dicks

about chatterbaits.... if you want to catch bigger bass on them then try this.... take a 5" strike king 3x fluke( or the one made by terminator which is pretty much the same exact bait) and use it as a trailer.... great trailer for several reasons.... it has amazing action because it has a very skinny straight tail, is very soft and it doesn't tear... those stupid twin tail spinnerbait trailers suck compared to this setup...  once you see it in the water you won't use any other trailer

after you catch a few 4 lbrs on that.... then put on a 7" fin-s fluke, the saltwater kind and hold on tight... this rig is gonna catch me a citation out here in CO this year

also had some monsters out here almost eat a 9" sluggo i was throwing... these are 7lb+ fish and they want big meals... the ashburn ponds are one thing but if you take these baits to bdam someone might get their arm broke off.... i've seen dead shad there well over 12" and you can bet those big bass love em

good luck fellas
