has anyone tried catching a live craw and fishing with it in one of the lakes seems like a good idea we a stream near my house and was thinking of trying it

I have used some crawdads on Alder and Cedar last summer with amazing success. I cast it out and immediatly got a bite that day, and I ended up with 8 fish.

any certain way to hook em up

I pull the hook through the head and then pop it out in the center. If you have used a plastic crawdad before the rigging techniques are fairly similar.
