Beech 4/5

Took a wander to Beech this morning with my wife before we head out to play golf and used a 'Pig n Jig' for the first time ever yikes

2nd cast and my largest ever bass was hooked. Weighed in at 4lb 13oz smile smile smile smile

fished for a while caught one bass not to big but probably around 1 1/4 pound then same thing about an hour later.  Fly rod was not producing anything today. 

Carp were up on top moving around the coves.
anyone check the water temp in cedar?

Cedar was 56 today.
