Pavillion Lake - 7-8-07
hooked a 6lb. + bass off the end of the gazebo out towards the fountain... got him all the way to the gazebo with his head out of the water but then the real challenge... finding a way to get down to the boat docks without breaking my 8lb test... i lost this battle... with one flap of his tail he yanked my arm down as i was passing my pole around the posts of the gazebo and broke me off on a concrete pillar.... a truly exciting experience for me even though i didn't land him... anyways black and blue senkos and green jigs with purple or pbj craws have been extremely productive so far this year

plan b, thanks for the post and welcome! Sorry about you losing that big bruiser! I hope you post again just be mindful of the dock fishing rules....the Pavillion folks get on you if they see you there.

It is nice to know there are some big fish in that lake, even though I have never fished it.
