Gotta luv the fluke

Fished yesterday

It was HOT! but fortunately a couple class II's on the float got us wet and cooled us down

Basically the same area but could have used the drop shot.

Fishing was much different than a couple days before.

Tried to find shade most of the day and it helped with the heat

Fish were lethargic but still grabbed a hand full of 12-13" fish.  Lost the big one but it wasn't the heart break as what I lost a couple days ago.  Everything on the fluke - I could have downsized baits and got some of the tail nippers, but decided to chase Momma with a 4.5" fluke and swimbait

Since y'all like food, got home, hosed myself down and put all the stuff away and made some quick chili garlic wings

It wasn't really as hot as it looks

It was hotter

I walked for an hour both Sunday and today around lunchtime. It was hard getting good air into the lungs. Not so much the heat but the high humidity. tongue
