11-26-19, "O"

Bob, John and I met at the ramp at 8a. Late start due to gate not opening until then.

The target was LMB since I had some very reliable reports from last week.

We were fishing in no time and I got the skunk off with this 11.5" crappie...

...which hit one of George's jigs trailed with a small eel trailer...which I promptly lost a few minutes later.

Bob then scored a LMB while dead drifting an underspin.

OK...we're catching some!

Several hours later, we were back at the ramp. That is all!

I was very surprised by the lack of bites. Disappointing results...to say the least but a beautiful day to be out on the water.

We did see one fella catch 4-5 smallish bass on a deep diving crank.

We saw one fella catch an almost keeper striper up river from us.

We saw  another fella catch a few nice crappie that he was targeting with live minnows.

We just said that we all sucked at fishing!

Tee time is next Wednesday at 9a....

Thanks for brining me along to make things challenging for you.  It was a nice day to be out and hopefully, we learned something.
