The Potomac River Fisheries Commission stated that 2018 has been characterized as having the 2nd highest rainfall to 1972 (Tropical Storm Agnes). Salinity at Point Lookout remain remarkably low at
6.8 ppt. Historical averages are 15ppt or greater (see image below).

There was a report yesterday of a blue cat caught among the stripers jigged up in the bay channel. I fear we're doomed.

Charters like Capt. Lee Tippet did a great job of catching a bunch during the summer. They would catch a striper limit and then catch a ton of white perch and blue cats. But too many blue cats now....

We need a drought to raise the salt content in the bay!
Funny how snakeheads where the doom fish at one point....
