Algonkian Fishable?

Is Algonkian fishable from a kayak/inflatable at 4.25 or so feet, measured at Point of Rocks?

Re: Algonkian Fishable?

I was at Brunswick yesterday and water was fast and muddy.  I would be careful as it does move fast.

Re: Algonkian Fishable?

I'll be out Thursday, will let you know. It looks like another mild bump from the T-storms predicted on Tue and Wed.

Re: Algonkian Fishable?

I got out today.  Water is heavily stained and fishing was not easy.  I ran up to my high water spot and caught 10.  Nothing over 15" and lost a few.  Only caught one other dink anywhere else.  Fish bit tube, swim bait and one each on a crank and a chatterbait.  HOT!!!

Drover over the mac a few days ago and it was muddy - with rain now and in the fcst tomorrow, I'd say no unless you're in a jet

This link will help you: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrogr … hydrograph

Less than 3' at POR is optimal.

Fast current at 4'

Really fast current at 5'

More than 5', go somewhere else.
