Delaware 5/11-5/13

Spent the weekend camping and fishing in the Lewes area. Overall it was pretty slow but I did get some flounder while wading at Cape Henlopen. On Saturday the fish were biting good but I had to get out when the beach filled up with people casting for blues. Never seen so many people on that beach! Caught a couple throwbacks from the pier too but nothing anywhere else. Didn't do any striper fishing at IRI :-/

No sharks around yet. I definitely prefer wading in Spring rather than summer for that reason, and there are no stingrays around yet either.

The flounder in the pic were 17 and 19". Not huge, but they made a couple of great dinners.
