Potomac River DC 12/17/17

A friend and I hit the Potomac yesterday out of Gravelly Point. Fished the stink station and the spoils and got on some bass. We probably caught 12-15 total, nothing big though, most were around a pound. Finesse plastics got the most bites.

We also got one small striper and of course snagged some big smelly shad. There was another boat  that seemed to be doing pretty well on the catfish. Water temp was 38 at the ramp, 60 at the outflow, and 40 in the Spoils.

Nice....was just thinking that I have not fished out of Gravelly since the shad run.

The catfish info is good. May have one more trip this year. Thanks

Nice job. Good way to spend a Saturday.

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
