11-19 Crappiefest

Kevin and I met up at Pavilion to do some crappie fishing.  Must have caught 50 or so!  At the end a kid and his mom show up and Kevin shows him how rig for crappie.  He caught a few and here was his biggest.

Nice!!! How were you all rigged up? I've stilled yet to successfully catch crappie when targeted, but at the same time I haven't been fishing in who knows how long due to other priorities roll

I fished a slip bobber at about 7'-8' (but had to search for the right depth for a while).  Both live bait and microtubes work really well.  I like the black/chartreuse combo.

Re: 11-19 Crappiefest

We've been crappie fishing up in the Goose quite a bit lately, it's been a good year for them.
