What is your perfect set of lures?

Interesting thought:

If you had only a handful of specific lures (let's say no more than ten) available to you for an entire year of largemouth fishing, what would they be? (Curly, you only get to pick one big_smile)

I was thinking about this when trying to consolidate my tackle boxes, and I thought it would be an interesting way to see how we all tend to fish.

I think mine would be:

1.  5" green pumpkin weightless Yamamoto Senko
2.  1/2 oz. gold chrome Rippin' Rap
3.  1/2 oz. red craw Rippin' Rap
4.  3/8 oz. black/blue D&L Baby Advantage Jig (these are awesome) with a black/blue Netbait Tiny Paca Chunk trailer
5.  1/4 oz. dropshot rig paired with a 4" mucky water Cactus Wren Talking Stick (look these things up!)
6.  Rootbeer chartreuse Bandit 100 series crankbait (upgraded hooks though...)
7.  4.5"  crystal shad Strike King KVD jerkbait
8.  3.5" black Stanley Ribbit
9.  Cricket frog Booyah Pad Crasher
10.  4" green pumpkin Zoom Fat Albert grub on a 1/4 oz. unpainted head

I could easily narrow down my selection to 10 lures. Here they are in order of importance to me:

3) Lucky Craft Sammy 100 American shad
4) Black/Blue 1/2 oz terminator pro series jig
5) Keitech Swing Impact Fat 4.3" silver flash minnow
6) Lucky Craft Pointer 78S Sexy Shad
7) Zoom Shakey Head worm Green Pumpkin with spot remover shakey head
8) KVD 1.5 squarebill sexy shad
9) 1/2 oz Red Eye shad sexy shad
10) Watermelon Red Rage Tail Craw on a wobble head

Re: What is your perfect set of lures?

For Virginia largemouth I could live with a frog, a LC Pointer, a jig n pig, and maybe a chatterbait.

Is that a specific brand, or just a Black & Blue Jig in general.

Ahh OK gotcha. Have you tried the rage blade style that is a mix of jig & chatter bait? If so, what do you think?
