11-3 Cedar crappie

Headed out to Cedar before lunch with a crappie jig.  Saw Bruce and one of his buddies out there bass fishing.  Caught 4 crappie in about an hour and all fairly decent size.  The 12"er was very thick and probably weighed a pound.

Re: 11-3 Cedar crappie

Curly,
Nice bunch of crappies. Wish we had done as well trying for bass. We fished for about 1.5 hours and caught nothing on craws, J&Ps, and Rat l Traps. But it was a beautiful fall day to be out, and the Popeye's chicken was exceptionally tasty on the way home.
