Leesburg 7/28 & 7/30

This is my first post since becoming a member with this forum. I had hoped to post a picture or two the other night, but time got away from me. I did get out and fish my 3 days off. This isn't every fish I caught just the more notable ones. The 29th I caught a couple little guys but nothing special.

7/30 I caught a few little guys while testing out my new rod and reel using a Texas rig. As it grew dark, I knew I had to bust out my frog set up. I love to fish with frogs. Honestly, I cant get enough of it. I was trying out a new black and red fog I purchased the other day. At first  I wasn't getting any bites so I figured the fish weren't interested. As it grew dark I started to pack everything up and call it a night. As I looked out across the lake, the full moon we are having lit the water up bright as day. I had a good feeling and figured I would cast out only a few more. It was a good thing I did.

The first big guy of the night.

This pig was caught after finally casting my lure into a tight spot I was trying to hit all night. I was very close a couple times, but I just had to sneak my lure into this one spot. I didn't give up, finally hit where I was trying to place my frog and pulled this pig out.

This was the last fish of the evening. He had quite the appetite so I had to get a picture. I would have kept going if i didn't work 24 hours tomorrow.
