We have a need:
USO just told us that they can NOT provide transportation to the event for the up to 12 warriors from the WTU at Ft. Belvoir
We need a 12 or 15 passenger van or 2 vans coming up from that area.

Anyone have any ideas?

Can you get a local "Limo Bus Service" to donate the transportation?
Chariots for Hire is a local provider in Sterling.

This just in!
We have been overwhelmed with volunteers...absolutely incredible. There will be prizes (raffle) for you!
This is going to be a great event for some folks that highly deserve to be recognized.
And...the food will be good; subs and drinks from Wegman's, pizza from Boston's and BBQ tacos from Taque.

Breakfast too?

Oh man that food list sounds so good...I might still try to eat it with my chipmunk cheeks
E, can you bring your camera even if I am able to make it? Having 2 with 2 different lenses will make things easier. Hmm I should probably find a telelens so I can take pictures from across the lake if need be...

We have a need for a baitcasting reel to pair up with the custom Rod donated by Mark Burks of Catoctin Creek Custom Rods.
If you have a close to new or new baitcaster that you are not going to use because you hate baitcasting, consider donating it. Plus....you can write it off!!

what camera type are you using? I have a lot of Nikon lenses that I can bring as backup too.

I think I will leave mine behind...way too many things on my mind and we have plenty of photographers.
It would be cool if someone took pictures from the water.....

I'm very thankful for everyone jumping in to finish it up for me. Glad I got started early on that request! I just got back into town and will see everyone in the morning!
