4-29-15, finicky fish at Cedar

Took the 3wt out for a bit. BG's are staging up...looks like LMB have mostly spawned...lots of fry around. Males are still guarding, lots of frogs and turtles stalking .

I caught 2 very nice BGs that I really had to tick off to make them bite. The little ones are eating.

One of the male LMB ate my fly...he was a nice 1.5 pounder.

They need to eat...soon.


Time to go fishin' again!

Sounds like a nice fish! Must have been fun on the 3wt. What fly did he take?
