11-25 Raccoon Perch

Down in southern NC at my Mom's for Thanksgiving since last Friday.  Got out Wednesday for a few minutes at a local lake.  Only one bite.....this little yellow perch that is called a "raccoon perch" locally.  A whopping 8" tongue .  Y'all got a little snow yesterday, while we got 4.5" of rain.

Re: 11-25 Raccoon Perch

We couldn't fish Wednesday because the newscasters said to stay hone during the blizzard conditions. They were on TV for most of the day covering the < 2" of snow we got. It was mesmerizing.....

Time to go fishin' again!
