Beaverdam 5/12

Got out there for what may be the last time legally for a while.  My mom came out too with her new kayak.  There were several other people out there in kayaks.

While waiting for my mom to show up I caught a small smallie on a crankbait.  Once she got on the water we headed straight across from Mt Hope.  Over in that cove I caught some bluegills, a white perch and a crappie.  Saw loads of carp along the edges. None were real big though, only 4-5lbs maybe.

Yesterday I heard a cop out with a couple of subjects at the spillway. So someone was patrolling the area.  Don't know if signs are up yet.

My sister's cop boyfriend hasn't been told anything about keeping people out of the reservoir.

Way to go! Nice variety of fish that place has. I need to make it out there before it is too late...

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
