Rose River Farm 11-24

Cold, windy, and really fun!
I got lucky and was invited to take a spot on a trip to the farm on sunday. I brought my 2wt and Despite the wind and my lousy casting I managed to catch lots of rainbows. The fish fought hard and I had several clear the water by a couple of feet. After fishing we stayed in one of their Yurts.

This is a trip I would love to do again. You do have to book way in advance, but if we get 4-5 guys we get the mile section to ourselves for the day.

PS I will post some pictures later.

Very nice.....count me in for a future trip. My only concern would be an unstable bottom but I suspect the Rose River is not super rocky.

Time to go fishin' again!
