Michael Morgan (7 years old)- On 10-20-12, at the BRHS Fishing Club Tourney, he caught 37 BG's for a total of 277"!
His best five (witnessed by many and scored by his dad) were 43". Thus, he should now be in 1st place!
A Boat US ruler was the measuring device.

He may have them but we went by Honor System and that should be good enough.....it was the HS tourney and he received a trophy for his effort (written on a piece of paper).

He has the pics for the 2 biggest (21.5 and 18) but not the 3 smaller ones. He will post later (he is napping).

2012 contest is now over. Maybe the 2013 contest run by Ernie will have more participation? Looks like I need to go to Dick's and spend my winnings............ohhhhhhhhhh..........I'm the one that pledged $100 for the prizes, except for $20 by bart2puck. I'll give "T" his $10 for 3rd place bluegill when I see him next one the lakes.
Bart2puck - you are officially "off the hook" for the $20 pledge.

I'm in for $25 per contest. Who/how do I make my contribution?

After further review and thinking about my own involvement, I will commit to a "day" tourney or 2 followed by a cookout. Maybe do an "on the water" tourney?
The year, semi annual or quarterly can still be done but someone will have to step up to run it. i can help a bit if needed but I would not be a participant as I don't fish the lakes (yes, I fish Cedar but I don't roam much).
And this is not about being a tightwad either........

If it's on a spring day that I don't have a track meet, I can provide the chorizo and Italian sausages for the cookout . Who's bringing the beer?
