Bucket Mouth

Hit the pond behind my house for an hour during lunch today to enjoy this awesome afternoon.  Managed to pull in this 4 lb 6 oz bucket-mouth after two previous hits in the weeds near the shoreline.  Picked off his 4 lb 8 oz brother a few yards away later, then a healthy but smaller 2 lb LMB.  Lots of dink bass just hovering in the shallows.  Looks like the bubbas are finally moving in from their deep summer haunts to fatten up!

Re: Bucket Mouth

Why does it seem like everyone has a pond to fish in except me? :-P

That's a nice bass. What did you catch them on?

Re: Bucket Mouth

i fished that pond a few days ago with a friend we got a 4lber each and a few dinks. my friend lost a 6 pounder after it snapped his 15 lb test line... he said he saw the fish and it was at least a 6.

at least it looks like the same pond...
