Deale, 9-14-12

The quest for today was to catch a white perch bigger than 12"!

Bob and I got an early start and were greeted by a gorgeous day!

Low tide was at 9:30 AM so we really did not have much to work with....

We hit the wall 1st but it was slow.....however, Bob started to put on a show with a nice perch....

...and then a nice redfish!

We left there and went to Mo's Hole but hardly anyone was home. Then, Bob spotted some breaking fish and we wailed away at small stripers until Bob caught this keeper wannabe!

On a hunch and a tip, we decide to fish the flats for perch but all we caught was dozens of the small flounders (I should say that Bob caught at a 3-1 ratio).

We went back to some new docks and we picked off one here and one there until I managed to get one that tied my all time largest WP with this nice 12 1/2 incher!

I tried every which way to make him go another 1/4" but he simply would not.....

Of course, a Woody lure caught it!

We managed to catch some nice perch today which will make a nice dinner for Bob!

They were not easy to catch and we finally started to get a steady flow as the tide was rising......but we could not stay for the high tide as I needed to get home.

A very enjoyable day with Bob indeed!!

Time to go fishin' again!
