Got to Pavillion around 10 am and could only pick one off here and there for about an hour. Then, around 11 am, bass started busting minnows off a north point just down from me. Must have been the size of half a basketball court.......hundreds of bass. Got to the point ASAP and caught one on every cast for about 30 minutes. Some less than a 1/2 pound, but many 1-1/2 to 2 lbs and fat. Big bass was between 3-1/2 and 4. Lost count, but maybe 50+ bass before they moved to deeper water and out of range. Waited 20 minutes for them to come back, but they moved to the middle of the lake.........they were spitting up small fathead minnows. We stocked 200 pounds of fathead minnows in there 9 days ago. The one day I did not take the camera .

how many fathead minnows equal 200#'s?
it would be cool to have marauding schools of 2 to 3#'s crushing bait in those lakes.
do the fatheads reproduce?
i bet the pavilion could use a few dozen hybrid stripers as well

With all those crashing bass Pavilion could probably use another 200# of minnows

300-400 per pound. Somewhere between 60,000 and 80,000 added. We added 10 pounds/acre......a good start .
Went back at 5 pm and could not find any schools feeding. I just got lucky earlier..............
