BDR 8/28/11 +pic

I was able to hit up BDR today on the jon boat. The water was down 2-3 feet since the last time I was out there a few weeks ago. We started fishing around 1600. The water conditions was choppy due to the wind however it settled down shortly after getting on the water.  Today we where able to land four fish. I got one while my buddy landed three while jigging off the bottom with worms and jerk baits. We didn't catch anything over 3lbs this time but it was still fun.

Re: BDR 8/28/11 +pic

Small LMB were biting fairly well this weekend at BDR.  I managed to catch 6 today before the rain started.  The size ran anywhere from 7" to 14".  These were caught in the shallows around weeds and rocks on a plastic worm.  Still trying to figure out BDR.  This was my second time out there.  Where are the big ones?  The white perch were biting but there were all small.  My fishing buddy pulled in the largest bluegill I have ever seen - she was using night crawlers

Lets see if these pictures work.....
