fished all day with my bro.  started off in the canoe at ashburn lake.  caught 2  1#ers and a couple a dinks.   Ashburn lake has some serious issues i think..


we then headed over to the pavilion and i caught a 2.2 halfway back the channel on the right in about 1.5ft of water. we ended up with a dozen  .5# to 2.2.

finished off the day up at cedar where I cried.  was over near the lilys tossing the spinner bait that has been working all day.  hooked a fish, and as I got it to shore, realized this behemoth was no joke.  based on the 5.5 i caught earlier this season, Id say this guy was well over 6+.  I was jumping around like an idiot.  and then it happened.  my new 8lb monofilament snapped. the fish was half way out of the water, when he noticed the freeness, and turned off to the depths.  you may have heard a scream if you live on cedar's shores around 6:30pm or so........
