last bass of the year.

fished a blackwater pond that is in the backyard of my house in georgia. a few chunks of thin ice still floating from the snow last week. about 40 for a high today. fished a shakey head with a watermelon red zoom trick worm. ended up with 4. subtle bites made me miss multiple fish. and i had a few get off the hook. biggest about 2 pounds all other just under that. all fish fought like beasts for cold weather small bass. and the bass in this pond have a thick solid black line instead of black spots on theyre sides. extremely healthy fish very thick which is the reason they fight hard im assuming. good way to end the year to me.
