Nature is always messing with us.

And no, the world is not coming to and end so let's not go there.

IMHO, the smallie (and other local fishies) spawn will be in the next full moon cycle, which is towards the end of next week. That means that beds are being made as we read this.

It's supposed to rain lots tomorrow causing the river to rise some. We just don't know how much. Will a 1-2-3 foot rise in water levels affect nesting areas?

Let's just hope we don't have a washout.

Man it seems like this happens every other year now. Smallies need to start spawning in June.
