Fountainhead 5/11/22

Fished from about 8:30am until 2:45pm.  Nice day out, but wind was an issue at times.  Water was pretty muddy and the bite was tough.  I tried lots of different lures and used muddy water colors.

Highlights were the scenery and wildlife.  Others were my minus/plus lure count at +1.  I snagged some line and pulled it in (a lot) and found this at the end.

It is a Googan squad squarebill that dives 3-5 feet.

I had one bite with a black tube near some shoreline wood.  I finally caught a 16.25"er with a green tube after the clouds rolled in.  The water was clearing some, but I decided not to risk staying later due to traffic.

I did not do well on my initial lure selection and really need to use more t-rig or even weightless plastics when fishing the shoreline.  Very snaggy place.

Fun day overall.
