11-30 LKA Crappie

Got my grandson and son-in-law out this morning for some crappie.  Picked up 50 minnows and hit the bridge pilings.  Was very surprised to see that we were the only crappie fishermen out this morning.  Must have caught well over 100.  We only kept fish that were >10.5".  Many 12-13+" fish and BF was a 14.5" pig.  Lost count of how many we were keeping about an hour into fishing.  But they were covering all the ice jugs.

Got back to the dock at lunch and the final keeper count was 23.

Here are Benjamin and Greg with the 4 biggest at 13-14.5"

Took me 50 minutes to filet all those fish.........Told Benjamin that I will show him how to clean fish in the next year or two smile .

Very nice...good that you can clean them right there. Been a long time since I kept a fish because of the cleaning hassle after a long drive.

Time to go fishin' again!
