10-25, Cedar

After seeing that Curly started throwing his P& J, I went out with my baitcaster loaded with a PBJ P&J. When I got to the lake edge, there were a ton of fish (bass and BGs) roaming the shallows but they all spooked when they saw me.

Change of plans...I ran up and got a 5 wt. The fly was an ancient fly tied by Bob's dad...probably back in the 60's!

The fish were fairly active. I caught 15 or so BG's up to 8" and 3-4 micro bass that were 3-4". A couple were sight caught and had 1 follow from a decent bass. As time went on, the bite slowed.

Fun catching. Also hooked another 6-7 that I did not land.

Kinda weird that they were so shallow on Oct. 25...

Very cool!  It did get warmer yesterday.  Better than I did in 7 hours on the UP!

It was warm but windy today. Water stained a bit.

Got a pounder on a slightly weighted wacky but that was it. Of course, I didn't move anywhere as usual.
