August 3rd Report

Met up with a crew of 4 all new to snakehead fishing. Ate our tailgate lunch and explained how important it is to stop and wait when the blowup happens. Low tide start meant we could fish some hard edges. Caught a couple nice LGMouth on poppers and had two hits from snakehead. Worked the area slowly as I knew lots of grass lay about a foot under the surface. Moved on when we got to the end. Next we went to three rivers and fished the seams of grass with Rico. Got a nice LGmouth and lost two more. Tide was ripping in and we attempted (attempted) hitting little pockets in the pads. Picked up another chunky LGmouth. Time to hit flooded pads. Got 5 more hits on the toad and no hook ups.

Weather was nice and water gin clear.
