LKA 9-15 morning

Grey overcast and light rain.  Got on the water around 7am and spent about 90 minutes trying to find fish.  Finally found some birds working.  Got out the Whopper Plopper and caught 2 nice keepers right away.  Then they sounded and went to the bottom.  Did manage one more throwback on the WP and switched to a spoon.  Only one throwback on the spoon before 5 boats came in and scattered the school.

Went back out after lunch an found a good school of fish.

Caught 10 or 15 or so jigging a spoon, but they were all 12-13" cookie cutter stripers.

Was still fun feeling them hit, but not much to reel in.......better that no bites smile
