7-7-18, Potomac

It was a bittersweet trip on Saturday night. The plan was to fish with Capt. Dennis from 4-7:30pm out of Auqualand and then head in to the Port Tobacco river to have a farewell dinner for him (joined by others). He is moving to Pensacola on Aug. 16. Bummer!

Out of the creek we go, following Capt. Dale in the Fishamajig II!

The 1st spot we go to is a well known landmark and we all caught fish.

Here is Jack bowed up!

Then we went shallow to no avail but a great reminder of a place I used to white perch fish. Some on this board will remember....

We went back up river but received some intel to hit some lumps and we scored quite a few keepers (and a blue cat) despite it being a slack tide....

Great night for fishing, we all wanted to stay out but had to meet others for dinner.

I guess I'll be going to Pensacola to do some fishing with my friend....

Time to go fishin' again!
