Just to the top of the ramp so far.

River was greener, but raging with debris.

Good place to catfish right now.   Worked for me a long time ago.

That's a long way up the ramp.....

Interestingly, Edwards Ferry is higher (right now) than POR. The slug of water is moving on down.

I have a 10 second video of the river raging, but I do not know how to load it.

E. you could almost launch from your parking place, just motor close to the drop box to deposit the ramp fee.

Have been there when it was like that in 1996 flood.  Rangers ran us off and closed the park.  That high water mark is on the post by the overlook and was around 4 feet up that post!

Re: Algonkian Ramp 5/19/18 about 1:45pm

I did seen some pix of jet skies parked on the ramp with the water that high

Insane to be taking anything out on the river at that level

I was dumb enough to do it once, launched and ran up to Whites and floated down (Fast!).  I felt something scraping the bottom of my boat and looked down and it was a submerged tree.

That tree would take out a jet ski easily
