NoVA CCA dinner/auction, Saturday, March 10

For $60, you get dinner, CCA membership (includes the monthly magazine, Tides) and many chances to win (raffles, silent and live auctions).

It's a great time!

Last year, 125 folks attended...

This seems fun. Can you buy tickets at the door?

Re: NoVA CCA dinner/auction, Saturday, March 10

It's hard to describe, unless you have attended before, the quality of the auction items as well as the raffle prizes.

Yes, you have to bring a few greenbacks but in the raffles alone, you have a chance to win the following:

LLBean Pescador 12’ Sit On Top Kayak w/ PFD & Paddle
65 Qt. Cooler CCA Logo
32 Samsung HDTV
TFO Pacemaker Spinning Rod – 6’10”’ M   Paired w/ Shimano 2500 Sahara FE
Shotgun
Restaurant Gift Cards
Custom Built Rod (by Danny Grulke)
32 quart - Soft Sided Waterproof Cooler
Choice of any stock Costa (NoVA CCA has @30 pair stock) sunglasses

And more....depending on what raffle you participate in!

Re: NoVA CCA dinner/auction, Saturday, March 10

And what a great event it was!

Capt. Mike's trip went for big dollars as did Capt. Dennis'. Obviously, the folks in the audience have good taste.

There were a few deals to be had for sure. I now have quite a few restaurant Gift cards that I bought at less than face value. Will definitely impress Debbie!

The folks that won the 4 top raffle prizes were super stoked!

Re: NoVA CCA dinner/auction, Saturday, March 10

The oysters are farm raised but unlike tilapia and Atlantic Salmon, they are grown "free", meaning they aren't fed the crap that the other two are fed.

To answer your question, they are smooth and sweet. Unfortunately, I only got a few as I am the MC of the event and have little time to socialize or eat.
