Day Fishing

Now that school is out I am fishing morning, day, and night.  I have the day and night thing down, but I can never seem to catch anything after 11 am.  Any advice?

Re: Day Fishing

X2 on Curly's advice, slow it down.

Also, depending on where you're fishing the fish tend to move from the bank and shoreline structure in the early morning, off the bank into a bit deeper water and points as morning wears on and deeper points and structure in the afternoon. If you're still fishing the shorline late morning and early afternoon on a sunny day, most of the fish are behind you. That's not to say you can't catch some fish on the bank mid-day in bright blue skies, especially if theres some trees to create shade, but most of the fish will be in deeper water.

I'm also becoming a fan of drop shotting with small finesse baits in the summer.
